Making a Merit
This was a great sold-out workshop in Glen Rose, Texas. The idea was to show what it takes to create a Merit print. For those not familiar with a Merit, professional photographers can enter the International Print Competition (IPC) each year. A panel of 43 specially trained judges evaluated over 5,000 images and awarded Merits to the best photographs.
We were delighted to see our print that was created as a part of this workshop awarded a Merit.
This image was created during our Making a Merit workshop in 2015. It did, in fact, win a Merit at the International Print Competition and will be displayed at the 124th Annual Exhibition in Atlanta early next year.
