About Our Programs

We try to make our workshops unique and our number one driving concern is to provide you with a wonderful educational experience, second to none. When you invest in your education, we believe that you should be assured that your instructor is more than qualified as a topic expert and as an educator.

Just as varied as the topics we cover, we offer a variety of different educational experiences. Because of this, “typical” is not a term often used with a GreatPhotography workshop. In fact, “workshop” doesn’t do our programs justice.

We have four different types of program offerings;

Workshops

Our Workshops tends to be multi-day events. They may be local, or offered in a unique destination. We limit the number of attendees to ensure an interactive environment that also provides opportunities for 1-on-1 instruction.

Seminars

Seminars tend to be shorter events from a few hours to a full day. The groups can be larger with limited interactivity and little, if any, time for 1-on-1 instruction.

Classes

Our Classes are like a hybrid workshop and seminar. The classes tend to be more interactive than a seminar and can be offered in-person or virtually. Classes can be a few hours in a single session, or last for weeks.

Odyssey

The Odyssey is the most comprehensive program offered. An Odyssey program is a destination event, often to international locations. The services offered go far beyond a workshop - often including cultural tours, other group events. Transportation, lodging, and meals may also be included.

Non-photographer spouses and friends are not only welcome, but encouraged to attend. Think of it as a photo-centric vacation.
