Travel Insurance

We’ve always believed that travel insurance is good to have. But, be aware that the travel insurance industry essentially disqualified any claims associated with COVID disruptions. Read the fine print and ask questions.

We recommend that you purchase travel insurance in case you must cancel your travel plans. Check out these sources.

Electrical Considerations

The voltage in Britain is 220/240 volts, 50 Hz., and the standard plug has three rectangular pins. To use any electronics brought from home, you’ll need to have an adapter. But wait! We don’t recommend that you take anything electrical with you.

With a good adapter, you’ll be able to use your camera and phone chargers, but don’t plan on taking a hairdryer or curling iron. The results could be shocking.
