What to Expect

From the moment you arrive, you’ll be working shoulder to shoulder with one of the music industries most sought after photographers, Russ Harrington. Sessions in the studio and on location are all designed to ignite your creativity and show you how to capture images that define your subject and grab the viewers attention.

Many of the models are working entertainers - musicians and singers. A favorite venue is the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame where we’ll have a session and, their schedule permitting, attend a great show.

On the first day, you’ll meet everyone at The Gallery - Tony Corbell’s photography studio in downtown Muskogee. You’ll be introduced to your guest instructor for the workshop, Russ Harrington. You’ll also meet new friends and get to know your host’s, Tony Corbell and Rob Hull.

On Friday morning we hit the ground running. Russ will share with you how he approaches a photo shoot and he’ll outline a technique that we’ll then use in a live model shoot. We do this throughout the day on Friday and Saturday so that by Saturday evening you’ll learn many new techniques and captured some stunning images.

On Sunday morning we wrap it all up with a discussion of the business side of photography before we close out the workshop at noon.
