The Sandbox
Did I mention the sandbox. Bob brings with him a veritable truckload of equipment that you can try on for size.
OK, not a truckload but a lot of gear - and you can try it all out. All students are encouraged to evaluate the different cameras, lenses, flashes, and other accessories that are available.
Looking For New Gear
First and foremost, we want to emphasize that the workshop is not a sales pitch for new equipment. Our goal is to provide you with valuable insights, techniques, and tips to improve your photography skills, regardless of the gear you currently possess. Our primary aim is to help you enhance your creativity and capture great shots through techniques and ideas rather than enticing you to make a new equipment purchase.
…if you decide that a new purchase is in the cards, then please let us know. Bill Porter, President of Arlington Camera, will be happy to bring whatever you want to the workshop on Sunday.
With that being said, we are thrilled to announce that our workshop sponsor, Arlington Camera, will be joining us for the event on Sunday. While you explore the equipment in the sandbox and learn more about the features provided in new equipment, if you decide that a new purchase is in the cards, then please let us know. Bill Porter, President of Arlington Camera, will be happy to bring whatever you want to the workshop on Sunday. He is often able to apply special “show discounts” to selected equipment.
Our focus remains on providing you with practical knowledge that can be applied to your current gear. This way, you can make the most of the event by learning, practicing, and networking alongside fellow passionate Canon photographers.
